“I need help!” - Most doctors

Sound familiar? You simply will never have the time you need to practice and have a family life without a well-trained and highly effective staff. And your profitability will suffer without that same team in place.

Every doctor needs a team that pushes them forward; never pulling them back or slowing them down.

And in spite of the enormous challenges we all face in hiring quality team members IT CAN AND IS BEING DONE NOW in February 2022. It’s not luck, it’s not magic, and it’s not a miracle that this happens. It’s a well-thought, thorough plan that just works. It simply works.

This is an entirely new program but it comes right after the great success of Dr. Peter Wishnie and Tina Del Buono’s highly successful “Run Your Practice Like a Top Practice” held in Fall 2021.

You DO need help. You need expert counsel and easy-to-implement plans from people who know how to do it -Dr. Wishnie and Ms. Del Buono. And you need help from the good people in your employ who want to help, but need help themselves.

Here is a high-level view of the course.

Starting on March 24, 2022, Dr. Wishnie and Ms. Del Buono will lead a small group of your colleagues in a six-week online workshop hosted on Zoom, that will enable you to have that team of deeply engaged and productive staff members.

  • Each session will be approximately 90 minutes long, taking place on Thursdays at 8:00 PM Eastern. All sessions will be recorded and sent to you within 24-48 hours. If you cannot attend a session, don't worry you will not miss out on any content. If you have any questions about it, all you have to do is email us and we will be happy to discuss it with you.
  • Each week you will receive a worksheet and any additional handouts or forms.
  • Two private 30-minute Zoom sessions are also included with either Dr. Wishnie or Tina.
  • The cost of the program includes the doctor and their manager to attend the course together as this is the best way for them to both be on the same page as they work together to bring the practice to the next level of efficiency and success.

RUN YOUR PRACTICE LIKE A TOP PRACTICE COACHING SESSIONS

Week #1: Your coaches will send you easy-to-answer questions, expectations, and information before the first session so you know what to expect and how to get the most from the programs.

In session one we will begin the process and prepare you to succeed beyond what you think is possible. Really.

Week #2: How to Lead with Purpose and Passion

If you want staff to be engaged and productive you first need to be engaged and productive as an example. Learning how to be the leader they need is the first step. It’s not hard and anyone can do this. Remember who they are following.

Week #3: Training is the key to success.

Training is THE KEY. But doing it well and NEVER stopping is what you need to know how to do. Life and challenges will always get in your way and try to derail you. When you finally master this, everything is easier. We need to set it up and get it automatic. Training never ends when you have a bulletproof training program. Happy, productive staff members are well-trained in what their job tasks are, they understand how what they do fits into the big picture of the success of the practice, and they are able to train others to successfully do their job tasks. Learn how.

Week #4: Conflict Resolution

When you work with people you WILL have people problems. These are, in our opinion, the toughest problems of the practice. They cost us lost time in production and money. Being trained in how to address conflict even before it happens is the key to keeping the practice running smooth, efficient, and productive. We will learn how to develop our conflict resolution skills with practical communication for preventing conflict and resolving it.

Week #5: Meetings are a waste of time...or are they?

Staff should be excited when it comes to office meetings, whether they are daily, weekly, or monthly. This will only happen if you have an agenda for your meetings and everyone knows what it is in advance. If you want staff to participate and have productive meetings, then they need to be well thought out with a purpose. There is a simple formula to create meetings with meaning and engagement. Yes, you actually can do this. No more boring unproductive meetings.

Week #6: How to keep the hamster wheel turning?

Sometimes it seems like "Groundhog Day" every day. How can we come to work fresh and excited day-after-day because if we don't then our staff never will. We will ensure you bring your best you to work each day" because you really want to.

Is it time to finally have the team you need? The team that truly helps you and is excited and grateful to work at your practice?

Then you won’t want to miss this! This interactive live seminar for you and your staff is worth the total cost of this entire program alone! And don’t worry if you or a staff member cannot make it to the live seminar, it will be recorded, and you will be sent a copy to watch at your convenience. Here is the agenda:

Leadership Communication ~ Dr. Peter Wishnie

Dr. WishnieGreat leaders know how to communicate. They understand that to get anything done, they need to be able to communicate to their staff the company’s vision, mission, and purpose.  Everyone must be on the same page. In addition, every department of your office must be able to communicate with each other.

Everyone needs something from someone else. The medical assistants and front desk need proper financial information for each patient to treat the patient properly and get paid on time. The doctor and assistant must be in sync to expedite the care of every patient. During one working day, there are multiple kinds of communication that must take place for a practice to run smoothly.

In the communication session of the class, we will be discussing what each department needs from one another and how to make sure they get it. It is all about leadership communication which means teaching every staff member they are in charge of their specific position.

How to Get Along with Your Co-Workers ~ Rem Jackson

Rem JacksonHave you ever had this thought? “What will it take to get through to this person!?” “This person” could be an employee you manage, a co-worker, or even your boss. Of course, you have! It’s a universal problem.

The number one problem in every organization, company, or medical practice since the dawn of history is COMMUNICATION. Why is this? We all do our very best to talk to others. In fact, we do our best to talk to them exactly the way we would want someone to talk to us…and therein lies the problem.

People are different. Very different! Luckily for us, there are 4 major personality types. And all 4 of them need to be communicated to differently. The trick is to know which type the person you are speaking to is and how to speak to them.

In this workshop, Rem Jackson will help you identify the type of every person you work with and give you strategies to communicate more effectively to all of them. Help foster communication, understanding, and teamwork. And just make working together more productive and more fun.

Conflict Management ~ Tina Del Buono, PMAC

“Avoidance is the best short-term strategy to escape conflict, and the best long-term strategy to ensure suffering.” ~ Brendon Burchard

Tina Del BuonoWhen you work with people, conflict is a given. It will happen and possibly often.  Authentic leaders do not allow conflict to linger on. They know that things will not resolve by not addressing it or putting a band-aid on the symptoms of a problem. They will not pretend everything is okay when they know it is not and they never ever expect that a problem will just fix itself.

What good leaders do is make things right, even if sometimes that means jumping in headfirst into the conflict. Dealing with conflict is one of the biggest challenges for a true leader but it’s one they don’t run from, in fact, the very best leaders run to it.

Authentic leaders with excellent conflict resolution skills do not forget the importance of relationships. They realize that how they make the other people feel is just as important as the eventual resolution. Having these types of skills will keep your practice team together and productive because the people on the team know that they are valued, heard, and that the leaders of the practice will work to provide the best environment to work and grow in.

In this session of the seminar, Tina will teach a six-step method for resolving conflict in the practice, taking difficult challenges from conflict to collaboration with the mindset of “thinking resolution rather than winning or being right”.
